Charity Program Update – In our continued pledge to donate $2 for each player that participates in our tournaments, DFWTT has donated $158 to the American Red Cross - California Wildfires fund.

 

2018 DFWTT Fall Open – DFWTT hosted its Fall Open on November 10th and 11th. The tournament was held in Dallas at the T Bar M Racquet Club. The USATT rating events were held on Saturday and the non-rating events were held on Sunday. Thanks to everyone who attended the tournament.

Message from JCC to their Guests – October 29th – In light of the events in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania over the weekend, the JCC wanted to take this opportunity to remind you of the important steps you can take to help ensure the safety and security of our campus and facility:

1) Anyone entering the campus must have the proper tag displayed on his or her vehicle.

2) Anyone entering the facility must check-in at either the front or sports and fitness desk.

Please remind all of those involved in your program or on your team that we are continuing to take safety and security very seriously here at the JCC and will continue to enforce our policies on these issues to protect our entire community.

Saturday's Team Competition – On Saturday's at TBarM, there is usually a 2-Man or 3-Man Team competition taking place. Our recent 3-Man team event, on October 13th, included the Avila family from Puerto Rico. Results

2018 Chinese Double Ten – DFWTT hosted its yearly Chinese Double Ten Celebration tournament on September 29th. The tournament was held in Dallas at the T Bar M Racquet Club. DFWTT has donated $157.49 to the Dallas Chinese Community Center.

Charity Program Update – In our continued pledge to donate $2 for each player that participates in our tournaments, DFWTT has donated $150 to Shared Hope International - bringing freedom, restoration, and new life to victimized women and children.

2018 Special Doubles Event – DFWTT hosted a Special Doubles Event on June 24th at the T Bar M Racquet Club. The teams included Class A (U-4100), Class B (U-3600), and Class C (U-2600).

NCTTA National Championships – The 2018 iSet College Table Tennis Championships took place on April 20th - 22nd in Round Rock, Texas. Results and videos of the tournament are on the NCTTA website. Grant Bergmann's pictures: Pics

 

2018 Dallas Senior Games – DFWTT hosted the Dallas Senior Games Table Table Tournament on March 23th at the T Bar M Racquet Club in Dallas. This event was part of the Dallas Park and Recreation's Senior Games which included 10 different competitive sports.

NCTTA South Regional Championships – Texas Wesleyan University hosted the NCTTA South Regional Championships on February 24th - 25th at the Sid Richardson Center in Fort Worth. Results of the tournament can be found at the NCTTA website. Grant Bergmann's pictures: Pics

 

2018 DFWTT Winter Open – DFWTT hosted its Winter Open on February 17th. The tournament was held in Dallas at the T Bar M Racquet Club and featured a USATT sanctioned Open Singles Round Robin event, and also non-sanctioned events including Open Singles and Open Doubles.

2018 DFWTT Charity Tournament – DFWTT hosted a charity tournament on January 27th at the Mustang Park Recreation Center in Irving, Texas. This tournament was for the benefit of firefighters and the police force. A donation of $500 was made to the Dallas Fire Fighters Association Local 58 Relief Fund. A donation of $500 was made to Assist the Officer Foundation (ATO), Fredrick Frazier, Dallas Police Association.
